APCOA has passed its 2013 Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) audit with flying colours.

The Security Industry Authority (S.I.A.) confirmed that APCOA achieved an excellent score of 140 (15 more than in 2012), which retains its position within the top five per cent of security providers in the UK.

The measure of APCOA's staff, along with its process and procedures, is an essential KPI to achieving a top 5 per cent score. And combined with contracts visited (24-27 June) during the ACS audit, and with the quality of data held on APCOA's internal management information system, it further evidences APCOA's commitment and compliance to the relevant British standards.

There are a number of standards and business improvement models that exist, both internationally and in the UK. The ACS standard, however, is awarded to organisations who are committed to customer service and the compulsory licencing of their staff. It also verifies that employment practices have been extensively assessed in respect of quality and best practice, which is also one of the pillars for APCOA Investors in People | Gold accreditation – awarded in May 2013.
