The car continues to be the preferred means of travel to railway stations and with the increase in passenger numbers, the demand for convenient and cost effective parking facilities is also growing.
APCOA is responsible for all aspects of rail station parking management. Control of station parking depends on the size of the station and its parking facilities. The average number of passengers per day per station can vary from as little as 100 to around 100,000. This huge range means that there is no uniform solution to parking provision or management.
To ensure that we achieve our sales and service targets for our rail clients, at APCOA we provide a dedicated workforce which covers customer service, security patrolling duties, administration, enforcement duties, season ticket sales, parking equipment supply, maintenance and management.

Our award-winning team currently parks over 5 million cars a year at UK airports. With our hands-on expertise, at APCOA we are the market leader in airport parking, and an effective, indispensable, partner for any airport operator.
Here in the UK we manage a number of major long-stay car parks at London's Gatwick and Heathrow airports as well as short-stay at Edinburgh on behalf of BAA. We have also recently added London Luton Airport to our growing portfolio.
The facilities we manage include self-park bays serviced by regular coach transfers, with customers having the option to pre-book their parking. Innovative technology, such as Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) systems, allows our pre-paid customers to enter and exit airport car parks quickly and seamlessly.
We also operate several premier "block parking" airport car parks, whereby we valet park vehicles on behalf of customers. With a three-minute terminal transfer time and APCOA attendants on hand to assist with enquiries and luggage handling, this process offers a smooth and stress-free start to the customer's holiday.
