Living Streets are a charity that campaigns to create better streets and public spaces for people on foot. Parking enforcement is all about keeping traffic flowing, encouraging cars to park in designated areas and ultimately to keep streets safer for pedestrians; we are pleased to be associated with Living Streets and support their aims and objectives.
We have many common interests as the majority of our staff spend their working day on our streets. Their activities contribute to the quality of the environment and our staff are valuable 'eyes and ears' in the community.
The local environment is, of course, a key issue for our local authority clients and by working together with our clients and Living Streets we will be able to add value to our services through participating in joint initiatives and putting the primary role of parking enforcement in a broader context.
